We are excited to announce that Swing Vote—what side are you on? was selected to the Big Apple Film Festival, named one of MovieMaker Magazine's top "25 Film Festivals Worth The Entry Fee!" We screen on Sat. Nov. 22, 6:00pm, at the world famous Tribeca Cinemas. Tickets go on sale November 1st on their website, www.bigapplefilmfestival.com.

The Closing Night party will take place in the Tribeca Cinemas Reception Lounge at 10 p.m. Parties sponsored by Stella Artois. Any festival attendees with tickets stubs or badges may attend the parties. We'll see you there!

We just got word that we are an official selection for the 2008 Coney Island Film Festival! This will be our NY premiere and we hope to see everyone from the cast in crew in the audience!

We had our World Premiere the AOF Film Festival in Pasadena, California last week and we won BEST Female Filmmaker- Short! Great work everyone!

We just got our first nominations! Swing Vote was just nominated for BEST comedy scene, BEST political statement movie, and BEST female filmmaker from the AOF film festival!

Last night we lost a dear member of our Swing Vote family. Mike
Petelka passed away suddenly. He was a great supporter of our project, supplying us with our holding space, locations, his unique talent, enthusiasm and encouragment. His generosity and vibrant spirit will be remembered forever. We would like to send our love to his wife and family at this very difficult time.
